Childhood Sight From Smell

the smell of a coal fire in Cambridge
took me back to Shamokin today

from there on down the pike
to where the locomotive graveyard used to lay

from Pottstown down to Philly
where little men on the Schuylkill row toy boats

to the Parkway of sycamore
down Broad Street south full of feathers and floats
